Partial solar eclipse, Oct 3
The solar telescope of the SIDC caught the moon in front of the Sun. The result in visible light and in the H-alpha wavelength is shown below.

The left/top image is taken with a H-alpha filter, while the picture at the right/bottom is the Sun as we see it, in visible light. Click on the figures to enlarge them. Once the full sequence with correct centering is available, it will be put on these pages. The centering-program is at the moment confused as a large surface of the solar disk is darkened and the Sun seems to be not round anymore.
