Keynote lecture and welcome reception

We welcome Prof. David Southwood, ESA Director of Science & Robotic exploration.
The lecture will be given on the conference site, ambassador room. More information
The keynote lecture is followed by a reception in the Museum-Gallery Xpo Salvador Dali in the Belfort. We offer you a drink and some fingerfoods with the Dali art work in the background.
The Dali expo is at walking distance from the Oud Sint Jan. We will guide towards it.
Debate: Human exploration of Space

Exploration is something from all times. In the last century, space exploration knew an explosive growth and interest. Do we have to put our ethical boundaries, do we have to take the challenge, is there a benefit?
The debate is open to the press, to the public and to the scientific community.

Beer tasting

During the space weather fair and poster viewing, you will have the opportunity to taste 4 kinds of Belgian beer: Brugse Zot - Brugs Tarwebier - Straffen Hendrik Triple - Kasteelbier. A small snack is accompagnying the drink.

Conference Dinner

The Celebration church is the decor of the conference dinner. The jezuit church is now used as the scenery of medieval events. While enjoying your meal, you might be surprised by some historical figures giving you clues to solve a mystery.
The church is on walking distance from the conference site. You will have the possibility to walk in group to the church.
